Responsibilities
The Adventure Center Guide's typical job functions include:
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Assisting and leading participants with gearing-up, safety orientation and general tour information
- Guiding guests safely through every element of Adventure Center activites
- Communicating and pointing out items of interest included throughout each tour
- Managing risky behavior and maintaining control of the tour group at all times
- Ensuring trails and lines are maintained to standards and reporting any concerns
- Developing new ideas and curriculum programming to fit the expanding needs of guests
This position might be for you if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Interested in being a part of a team
