Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on directly related experience, certifications, technical breadth, and demonstrated ability. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $25 – $34 per hour. Qualified candidates may be considered for a signing bonus and relocation assistance based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine propulsion, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems on a wide variety of recreational and commercial vessels. Including seasonal commissioning, decommissioning, inspections and sea trials.
- Recognize complex technical issues, develop and recommend practical solutions, and present recommendations to the Project Manager for review and implementation.
- Plan, coordinate, and complete projects up to approximately 80 labor hours while maintaining quality, efficiency, and accurate documentation.
- Estimate labor, identify required materials and parts, document completed work, and communicate project status with the Project Manager and customers as needed.
- Share technical knowledge, mentor developing technicians, and help foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Assist with launching, hauling and boat handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of directly related marine technician experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of marine systems.
- Experience piloting boats between 20 and 50 feet in close quarters.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- ABYC certifications preferred. Candidates willing to obtain additional certifications through company-supported training are encouraged to apply.
