About the Job
Boyle Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Insurance Producer to join our Memphis office near I‑240 & Poplar. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and building a profitable book of insurance business for the agency.
This is a performance-oriented, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys prospecting and networking, and is committed to long-term client retention. The Producer will work closely with account managers, CSRs, and carrier partners to ensure proper coverage placement, accuracy, and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, outbound prospecting, and marketing efforts
- Conduct client needs assessments to understand operations, exposures, and coverage gaps
- Prepare, present, and finalize proposals, quotes, and coverage recommendations
- Close new business and meet established production goals
- Participate in annual account reviews to ensure proper coverage and identify cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, providing guidance on policies, coverage, and claims
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and CSRs to collect underwriting information and ensure timely submissions
- Adhere to established submission timelines based on account size and complexity
- Complete required monthly new business and renewal rewrite reports
- Forward all client and underwriting correspondence to service staff for documentation in the agency management system
- Maintain compliance with Tennessee insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and agency procedures
- Represent Boyle Insurance Agency professionally and positively within the community
The Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience in insurance sales or business development preferred
- Active Tennessee insurance license or ability to obtain required licensing
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Goal-oriented with a sales-driven mindset and strong follow-through
- Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Knowledgeable in insurance coverages, markets, and risk management principles
- Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
