POSTED ON 5/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/25/2026

Ready to grow your career in sales with a leading multi-state fuel distributor? We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to help grow our wholesale fuel business across a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

In this role, you’ll build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, prepare competitive fuel quotes, manage bulk gasoline and diesel accounts, and support customers throughout the sales process. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced sales professionals and motivated early-career candidates eager to develop their skills in business development, account management, and territory growth.

This role offers a strong career growth path for early-career sales professionals. Candidates with less than five years of sales experience will begin with hands-on training and development program at our Oklahoma City office for approximately two years before transitioning into a remote Colorado-based territory role.

If you thrive in a goal-oriented environment, enjoy connecting with customers, and are excited by the opportunity to make a direct impact on company growth, we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, pricing gasoline and diesel deliveries to retail stations, identifying and proposing branding opportunities, obtaining credit applications, quoting customers daily, receiving orders, and assisting with collections.

  • Cold call and set appointments with potential customers within an assigned territory

Territory Management

  • Travel regularly (often daily) to meet with clients and prospects across a defined geographic area
  • Maintain a territory plan to monitor market trends, competitor activity, and prospecting status

Sales Presentations & Proposals

  • Deliver customized presentations highlighting company fuel products, pricing, logistics capabilities, and services
  • Identify branding opportunities for best fit between convenience store operators and company objectives
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms for bulk deliveries of gasoline and diesel.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular site visits to check service quality and promote upsells
  • Resolve issues related to delivery schedules, product quality, or billing concerns
  • Applies a level of discernment and prioritization; willing and able to make customer de-selection decisions

Credit & Compliance Support

  • Assist customers with credit applications and ensure accounts are in good standing
  • Ensure customer compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., storage, metering, tax documentation)

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal logistics, dispatch, credit, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment
  • Use CRM systems to track sales activity, pipeline development, and follow-up status
  • Report on territory performance, customer trends, and competitive insights

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
