Role Overview
As a Commercial Project Manager, you’ll oversee assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring they run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage on-site production, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. This role blends leadership, organization, and hands-on involvement in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of commercial projects, including plans, logistics, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate subcontractors and supervise laborers on-site.
- Conduct daily site visits, oversee quality control, and maintain project schedules.
- Handle client updates, invoicing assistance, and project documentation.
- Support performance reviews for laborers.
- Maintain neat, orderly job sites and detailed project photos.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience managing midsize industrial and commercial projects.
- Preferred: Experience managing nursing home and/or assisted living facilities projects. Proven experience in these areas may warrant premium pay for the role.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of construction and project management experience (or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills for clients, vendors, and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to travel up to 80%.
- Comfortable with occasional weekend or emergency work.
