Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures.
- Provide post-operative care and educate pet owners on care instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in animal care or veterinary settings is required.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and aseptic technique is essential.
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices is a plus.
- Skills in dog training or behavioral understanding can enhance patient interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

- Must have a current Vet Tech license, having passed all State Board requirements.
