We're looking for a staff or senior accountant to join us full-time.
What You'll Do
- Prepare tax returns, workpapers, and reports
- Research technical issues and document well-supported conclusions
- Provide accounting and bookkeeping services for clients
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to client matters
- Follow the regulations and professional ethics standards of the AICPA and the State Society
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software to produce accurate, finished work efficiently
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Careful review of your own work for accuracy and completeness
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management
- Comfort adapting to changing conditions and performing under deadline pressure
- Willingness to ask questions when unsure and eagerness to keep learning, both on the job and through formal training
- Prompt, attentive communication with clients and coworkers
- Professionalism, courtesy, and a positive, cooperative attitude
Client Service
- Deliver friendly, courteous service in person and by phone so clients feel valued
- Take ownership of the quality of client service
- Build an understanding of each client's business and recognize opportunities to help them
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Actively pursuing a CPA license
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
