Carpenter / Working Project Manager, Full Time
Boxwell Design Build | Sisters, Oregon
Boxwell Design Build is a design-build and general contracting firm in Sisters with 24 years in Central Oregon. We build high-end custom homes, high end remodels and we're looking for a skilled carpenter who can also run our projects.
The role:
This is a hands-on position, roughly 60% on the tools and 40% running the project. You'll lead the work on site and keep jobs moving from start to punch.
- Framing through finish carpentry, with quality you'd put your name on
- Installing windows, doors, casing, trim, decking, siding, and more
- Scheduling and coordinating subs and deliveries
- Reading plans, catching problems early, and solving them in the field
- Clear, professional communication with clients and the office
- Keeping sites clean, safe, and organized
- Running punch lists and closeout
What we're looking for:
- 5 years of carpentry experience, with finish work a strong plus
- Experience leading a crew or running jobs, formal title or not
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable owning a project
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and your own hand tools
- Custom residential or high-end remodel experience preferred
