What are the responsibilities and job description for the eLearning Developer position at Boxlight Inc.?
We are looking for a creative eLearning Developer to help continue the growth of one of the key Boxlight customers in Clayton county, Georgia. The eLearning developer will be responsible for the creation of interactive eLearning modules and associated eLearning content on a wide variety of topics related to professional development and career advancement. The eLearning developer will work alongside subject matter experts to design engaging, outcomes-oriented learning. This role will also work with the Product team to incorporate user feedback into the design of new eLearning content and the revision of existing content.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as an expert on eLearning user experience
· Create highly interactive multimedia learning content under supervision of subject matter experts
· Work with the Content and Product teams to ensure the regular delivery, improvement, and expansion of eLearning content
· Incorporate user feedback to improve and adapt customer’s eLearning content
· Manage multiple projects at once and ensure adherence to schedule and scope
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of eLearning design and development best practices
· 1 year creating SCORM-compliant eLearning materials
· Understanding of adult learning and engagement best practices
· Proficiency in eLearning development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise
· Camtasia experience
· Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with team members
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple short and long-term projects to meet deadlines
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· High comfort level with Google applications, such as Doc, Sheets, and Slides
Preferred:
· Experience in professional services, experience in the K-12 sector
· Associate degree or higher. Educational background in instructional design.
