We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our outdoor spaces. This role involves daily cleaning, trash removal, minor landscaping, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and litter removal of exterior grounds.
- Sweep sidewalks, parking areas, garage elevator landings and stairwells, and building entryways.
- Power wash sidewalks, entryways and parking lots as needed.
- Empty outdoor trash and recycling bins.
- Conduct minor landscaping tasks such as trimming and watering.
- Inspect grounds for hazards and report maintenance needs.
- Check garage fire hose/fire extinguisher equipment.
- Change lightbulbs in garage as needed.
- Maintain cleaning and landscaping equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications:
Education & Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- On-the-job training provided for equipment use and safety.
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscaping.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and equipment use.
