Job Overview
Boxell Solutions is seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
Duties
- Install and maintain HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize HVAC tools and equipment to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems when required.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues.
- Design and build custom HVAC solutions based on client specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed HVAC Technician.
- Familiarity with plumbing and construction systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation and repair techniques.
- Experience driving vans or other vehicles for transportation to job sites is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
