Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely service and upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and food prep tools
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and manage retail sales transactions
- Uphold food handling safety standards, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Retail sales experience is a plus, along with culinary or café experience that demonstrates a passion for food service excellence
