Job Summary:
BowStreet Investigations and Security is searching for unarmed security guard for a site located in the downtown Indianapolis, Indiana area. Candidates should be motivated and dependable.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed
- You must be able to physically stand, walk, and patrol the assigned location for the majority of your shift
- Previous military, police, or security guard experience preferred but not required
Duties:
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and deter any suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on the property.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports of incidents and observations.
Experience:
- Minimum TWO (2) years of continuous employed security guard experience.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Candidates should possess relevant experience or certifications that enhance their ability to perform effectively in this role.
