Join our Deli team as a Closer at Bowman's Market in our Deli.
Duties
- Assist customers with food orders, selling products to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Prepare and package deli items according to quality standards and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and disposing of waste properly
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations to guarantee safety and freshness
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in retail or restaurant settings is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
- Must be 18 years or older and obtain a food handlers permit
