Role Description The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services to patients during scheduled appointments. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, including familiarity with common procedures and terminology.
- Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis techniques for preventive and routine care.
- Knowledge of Periodontal Disease, including assessment, non-surgical treatment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Nevada, in good standing.
- Current certifications in CPR/BLS and adherence to infection control and OSHA standards.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills, with the ability to explain treatments and home care clearly and respectfully.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
- Comfort using dental practice software and digital tools (e.g., digital radiography, electronic health records).
- Prior experience in a general dentistry practice is preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
