What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Sales Internship position at Bowling Green Hot Rods?
The Bowling Green Hot Rods are looking for ticket sales interns for the 2026 season. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are enthusiastic about gaining experience in Minor League Baseball. Through this internship you will gain real-world experience in sales within a professional sports organization.
Responsibilities:
- Sell single game, group, full season, and partial season tickets to Hot Rods home games
- Fill single game ticket orders in the box office (phone, internet, walk up) during all events and game days
- Find new ways to sell and market the Hot Rods
- Research new ways to improve the ticketing operations and sales
- Assist in running fans services on gameday and working closely with our promotional team
- Office hours operating box office windows
- Assist season ticket holders with any ticketing issues
- Collecting and managing customer data for marketing campaigns
Skills/Qualifications
- Proficient written and verbal skills
- Proficient in word and excel
- Highly motivated
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast pace environments such as game days or events
- Ability to work games days and non-traditional hours
- Ability to work on individual and team assignments while handling strict deadlines
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Previous ticketing software experience preferred but not required
Schedule:
Will be expected to work game days and office hours during the Hot Rods season beginning March and running through October. There will be 66 home games starting April 3rd. Office hours will vary on off-weeks.
