Primary Job Functions:
Job duties include planning and coordination of the purchase of materials, products, and services in accordance with inventory cycles. Weigh, measure, and check materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records.
Tasks
- Maintain stock levels of repair materials, parts, and products.
- Process receiving transactions, update logs, and maintain accurate records and labels.
- Identify and quarantine any non-conforming or unapproved parts.
- Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Develop or improve upon inventory management procedures.
- Stock and distribute supplies, equipment and merchandise.
- Enforce safety and security protocols for handling materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in inventory control is required.
- EBIS experience is a plus.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of databases and reporting tools, such as Microsoft.
- High school Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Advancement based on satisfactory performance and operational requirement
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
