This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is prepared to handle cases independently from inception through resolution.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and before government agencies.Manage a caseload focused on civil litigation matters.Conduct detailed legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and settlement agreements.Advise clients on legal and business transactions clearly and confidently.Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.Maintain organized case files and collaborate with legal support staff.Ensure full compliance with legal standards, court procedures, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Active California Bar License.Proven experience handling civil litigation cases independently.Direct experience highly preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask and manage multiple matters simultaneously.Detail-oriented with excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Team player with the ability to work autonomously.Preferred Attributes:Background in civil and business litigation and/or personal injury law.Ability to manage client expectations and build strong professional relationships.Highly motivated, reliable, and adaptable to shifting priorities.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range: $145,000 – $175,000 DOEBonus structure available for new business development Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401k profit share; Life, LTD & ADD; Flexible Spending AccountGenerous vacation policyOn-site gym access and free parkingConvenient downtown Walnut Creek location near BARTFree parkingCompany DescriptionOur law firm is uniquely qualified to handle multi-faceted cases.
