Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service to ensure a memorable dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations according to sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems while managing basic math calculations
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling opportunities
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles can be beneficial but not required
- Host/hostess experience or serving background enhances your ability to connect with guests quickly
