Facility Maintenance – Bowl 360Job Overview
The Facility Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the Bowl 360 facility. This role includes performing routine upkeep, minor repairs, and cleaning duties to ensure an exceptional experience for guests and staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to assist in various areas of the business, with opportunities for cross-training in additional roles.
Key Responsibilities General Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on bowling and facility equipment
- Assist with preventative maintenance as directed by management and lead mechanics
- Monitor and maintain fire exits, extinguishers, and overall building safety systems
- Inspect bowling balls weekly and report damages or replacement needs
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of back-end and porter areas
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior areas at all times
- Sweep, clean, and remove debris from outside areas, including weed control
- Clean bowling lanes, gutters, and ball returns daily
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallways, offices, stairways, lockers, and common areas
- Dust furniture and equipment regularly
- Clean glass surfaces, doors, and windows to ensure visibility and presentation
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the day and prepare bins for collection
- Replenish restroom supplies and check for malfunctioning fixtures hourly
Facility Operations Support
- Oil bowling lanes during league season
- Change beer kegs as needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving of supplies
- Support front-of-house operations by running food, beverages, and bussing tables when necessary
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Complete required training, including Anti-Harassment training through BPAA
- Immediately report any issues or situations beyond scope to management
- Conduct building checks at the beginning and end of each shift
Grounds & Exterior Maintenance
- Maintain parking lot, entrances, walkways, and green spaces
- Clear snow and ensure safe access during inclement weather
Additional Duties
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and vent cleaning
- Maintain proper uniform and professional appearance
- Be punctual, dependable, and ready to perform all assigned duties
- Cross-train in other roles as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and apply common sense in daily tasks
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Ability to lift and carry objects over 100 lbs (with assistance)
- Ability to stand and be active for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
