Recruits freshmen and transfer students from high schools and community colleges. Makes presentations to student groups. Counsels students and parents regarding the admissions process.
Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Responsibilities
- Actively engage with prospective students, parents, and the community through telephone, email, virtual opportunities, and other channels to promote the university and program offerings
- Review admissions files for transfer/freshman applications for determination of admissibility in accordance with university policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of applicant information, communication, and admissions decisions within our university system and internal tracking process.
- Conduct outreach to applicants to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information
- Evaluate transcripts for admissions and transferability of college credits
- Respond to student inquiries regarding the admission process and procedures and the transferability of credit and related academic information.
- Attend recruitment activities as assigned, including college fairs, school visits, and information sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Admissions Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of one year of experience with student recruiting in a college/university environment.
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
- Travel in and out of state, evening, and weekend hours will be required.
