What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem LPN - Chemical Dependency Crisis Center position at Bowery Residents' Committee?
Duties/Responsibilities
Administer medication to 50 mentally ill and medically fragile homeless adults. Conduct nursing assessments and implant PPD’s. Maintain records as per state and agency regulations. Liaisons with medical providers to ensure medical regimens are followed. Coordinate client medical treatment and follow up. Participate in clinical and management team meetings. Co- facilitates a weekly health education group. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse, current NYS Education Department license, CPR certification, minimum of 3 years of experience in the delivery of human services, at least 1 of which includes alcohol specific. Basic computer literacy required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
