Role Description
In this Machine Operator B role, you will be responsible for various tasks including machine operation, press and saw operation, racking and unracking of products, possible warehouse functions, use of power tools and computer screens, fabricating, and utilizing hand tools with minor machine repairs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, adding all-around skillsets to their experience base, and has a strong and reliable work ethic with a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform general machinist labor duties such as loading and unloading materials and parts, moving items within the facility, and assisting with inventory management
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble machinery or equipment as needed
- Use power tools, hand tools, computer screens, and machines to cut, shape, or fabricate materials according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and complete minor repairs on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Completing all tracking operations paperwork for parts accurately, honestly and wholly. Collecting data through scanning jobs as well.
- Adhering to all safety procedures wearing the correct PPE daily
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive or manufacturing role preferred
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift or move objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly or for an 8-10 hour shift
