Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and with a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily jobsite operations and ensure alignment with project schedules
- Supervise field crews and subcontractors; assign work and monitor productivity
- Ensure proper layout and execution of buildings and equipment installation
- Verify materials, tools, and equipment are delivered on time and meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
- Track jobsite progress, expenses, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
- Communicate issues, delays, or material concerns promptly
- Support accurate documentation, including project drawings and as-builts
- Act as the main point of contact for crews and suppliers on-site
- Enforce safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and mobile/construction technology
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of construction site supervisory experience on projects exceeding $1M in scope, or recent graduates with relevant construction management education and internship/co-op experience.
- Agricultural construction experience, particularly swine and/or dairy, is preferred.
- Experience working with construction equipment and tools.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
