The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator supports the recruitment process by ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. This role plays a key part in the success of onboarding candidates by managing background checks, offer processing, onboarding logistics, and related administrative tasks to ensure compliance, accuracy, and an excellent new-hire experience.

Duties/Responsibilities
Below are the primary duties and essential functions of an employee in this position. - Prepare and send offer letters and new hire documentation.
- Manage the background check process, including initiating screenings, tracking results, and communicating status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct candidate meetings following background check completion to review results, clarify next steps, and address any questions.
- Manage the waiver process for background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
- Verify candidate eligibility to work and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during pre-boarding, providing guidance and answering questions about paperwork, and the onboarding process.
- Collect and verify all required employment documents (transcripts, LORs, certifications, etc.).
- Support continuous compliance processes, including recurring (e.g. four-year) background checks and driving verification.
- Obtain a working knowledge of all HR functions, reports, laws and policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and facilitate hiring managers and candidates through the application and selection processes.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently as a team member within the Human Capital Management (HCM) Department.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Prefer two (2) years of HR coordination, onboarding or talent acquisition operations.
- Certificate or Professional License: SHRM Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage.
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks.
