Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Groundsman to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating CDL vehicles and equipment to support tree care and forest management projects. Duties
- Safely operate log trucks, chip trucks, bucket trucks, and other equipment for tree care projects.
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using rigging techniques and bucket operation.
- Safely operate a chainsaw and chipper for tree care projects.
- Maintain equipment including routine inspections, cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to protect yourself and team members.
Skills
- Proven experience driving commercial trucks. Class B CDL required, Class A preferred.
- Experience operating a chainsaw.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques used in tree care or landscape projects.
- Experience in or willingness to learn skills in tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care practices.
