Quality Technician

Job Overview:

• Perform in-process and final inspections of CNC-machined parts to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Work closely with machine operators and engineers to identify and resolve quality concerns in real time.
• Communicate with vendors and customers quality teams to master understand of parts showing effort to deliver high quality products made to their specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections of materials, parts, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, with a thorough understanding of customer specifications.
• Utilize a variety of precision measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators, to assess product quality.
• Record inspection results and generate detailed reports for the Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to address quality concerns and resolve issues to promote continuous improvement company wide.
• Assist with maintaining and improving quality systems through consistent communication with team members.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality processes and procedures to improve manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.
• Efficient application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in quality assurance or inspection are preferred.
• Demonstration of a positive attitude that impacts the existing company culture.
• Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adjust to increased workloads displaying a helpful work ethic. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to verify meets high quality standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy under pressure.
