Job Overview

Bowden Manufacturing is seeking experienced CNC Mill  and/or Lathe Machinist to support precision machining operations for aerospace, defense, and commercial customers. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who can independently set up, run, and inspect parts while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes for pre-programmed production jobs.
• Adjust tool offsets, work coordinates, and machine parameters to ensure accuracy.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor tooling condition and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• 5 years of CNC milling and/or turning experience.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and machining best practices.
• Experience with precision measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
