ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules to support successful project delivery. This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and leadership to track progress, identify risks, and provide schedule-driven insights that support informed decision-making throughout the life of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule Development & Maintenance
- Develop baseline and detailed project schedules from preconstruction through closeout
- Build schedules that reflect project scope, sequencing, milestones, and contractual requirements
- Update schedules regularly to reflect actual progress and changes in the field
Schedule Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze schedule impacts related to design changes, scope revisions, delays, and recovery plans
- Perform critical path and float analysis
- Prepare schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to validate sequencing and construction logic
- Coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners to incorporate accurate activity durations and constraints
- Support owner and consultant schedule reviews and meetings as needed
Risk Management & Forecasting
- Identify schedule risks early and propose mitigation or recovery strategies
- Assist project teams with schedule-driven planning and resource forecasting
- Support claims analysis, time impact analysis, and documentation when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3–7 years of scheduling experience in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience with complex, multi-phase project schedules

- Ability to communicate schedule impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting healthcare, commercial, institutional, or large-scale projects
- Familiarity with delay analysis and recovery scheduling
- Experience working closely with field teams and operations leadership
