Key Responsibilities
Protect and serve the community by enforcing laws, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies.
Build strong relationships with residents through open communication and community outreach.
Uphold the principles of procedural justice by treating all individuals with fairness, respect, and impartiality.
Maintain transparency in actions and decisions to foster trust within the community.
Provide a voice to community members by actively listening to their concerns and needs.

Conduct patrols, investigations, and traffic enforcement with professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, and polygraph examination.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to community engagement.
Dedication to the principles of fairness, transparency, and procedural justice.
Certification as a police officer in New Hampshire or eligibility to attend the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council Academy.
Prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus but not required.
