Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, adhering to local building codes and safety standards
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper water flow
- Perform plumbing system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime
- Manage water systems including supply lines, fixtures, pumps, and water heaters with mechanical precision
- Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects, assembly tasks, and site setup while maintaining a safe construction environment
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites while complying with commercial driving regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed clearly and professionally to clients
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repair tasks as needed
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation and maintenance
- Skilled in pipe threading, drain cleaning techniques, and the use of plumbing inspection cameras
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with mechanical knowledge of water systems and plumbing infrastructure
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation or repair work
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and company vehicles safely and effectively
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and handyman skills beneficial for diverse project needs
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical specifications
