What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at Bove Industries, Inc?
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control and Purchasing agent. The primary job function is inventory control, including receiving, shipping, and purchasing tools and material for a large Heavy Construction Contractor. Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred. Communicate with Project Teams and Vendors . The goal is to acquire and monitor supplies that are critical to our operation.
Responsibilities
- · Inventory Control
- Shipping and Receiving
- Place orders for Field Operations
- Request quotes from multiple suppliers/vendors
- Develop pricing list on commonly used items
- Follow up and track orders to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
- Monitor stock levels
Requirements
- Experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role
- Able to negotiate prices and terms and conditions
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
