Responsibilities
- Travel to universities within designated territories to engage with professors
- Initiate conversations to identify clients' needs and pain points
- Schedule and conduct meetings, aiming for multiple client interactions
- Manage the sales cycle, including scheduling demos and follow-up meetings
- Oversee the publication process post-sale, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Participate in project planning meetings with authors
- Conduct pre-work during off-peak seasons to prepare for upcoming sales
- Document and submit necessary paperwork related to sales and projects
- Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process
- Travel up to 30% of the time for training and client meetings
- At least 2-3 years of outside sales experience
- Experience selling non-tangible products, such as insurance or time shares
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Valid driver's license
- No OWI/DUI in the past 5 years or 3 driving violations
- Publishing experience is preferred
