Litigation Paralegal Requirements
- 3–5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with eFiling required
- Ability to handle heavy caseloads and strict deadlines without losing composure
- Strong client-facing communication skills, friendly and professional demeanor
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Support an attorney with case management and litigation tasks
- Handle docket management, discovery, calendaring, and pre-trial preparation
- Draft and file legal documents to meet all deadlines
- Meet with clients and serve as a primary contact, including handling client calls
- Work closely with legal assistants and medical records clerks to maintain efficiency
- Assist with 60 active cases in filing status and manage a total docket of 90–100 cases
- Ensure all tasks are completed timely and proactively anticipate attorney needs
