Junior Portfolio Manager

Position Title: Junior Portfolio Manager - Hybrid

An established wealth management team is seeking a Junior Portfolio Manager to support the management of approximately $600M in assets for a select group of ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role will monitor and manage investment portfolios, execute trades and rebalancing, conduct investment research, maintain Investment Policy Statements, and support strategic asset allocation and ongoing portfolio analysis.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of investment industry experience, a strong foundation in wealth management or portfolio management, and the ability to confidently handle both the analytical and operational sides of managing sophisticated client portfolios.

Pay Range: $50 - $60 / hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage investment portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Execute trades, portfolio rebalancing, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
• Maintain Investment Policy Statements and ensure portfolios remain aligned with established investment objectives
• Conduct investment research and evaluate investment strategies, managers, and opportunities
• Assist in developing and maintaining strategic asset allocation models
• Collaborate with investment partners on asset allocation, portfolio strategy, and investment decisions
• Provide day-to-day operational support, investment analysis, reporting, and identification of portfolio risks or opportunities
  
  

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience within the investment industry, ideally in wealth management, portfolio management, or investment research
• Series 65 license required
• Hands-on experience with trading, portfolio rebalancing, portfolio monitoring, and investment research
• Strong understanding of asset allocation, investment models, and strategy evaluation
• Experience with portfolio management platforms such as Black Diamond, LSEG, FactSet, or similar systems
• High school diploma required, with relevant experience considered in place of a college degree
• Experience with Fidelity or Black Diamond highly preferred, with CFA or CFP credentials considered a plus
