A leading manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on, results-driven General Manager to lead their growing operations. As they scale their production, they need a leader who can drive efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the production floor. This role is critical in optimizing throughput, minimizing equipment downtime, and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in manufacturing preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods and a strong track record in operations management.
General Manager Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring quality production at a high rate
- Proactively manage equipment maintenance and minimize downtime
- Ensure the supply chain remains efficient and uninterrupted
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain compliance and safety
- Work hands-on with powder filling machines, labeling machines, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment
- Supervise 3-5 direct reports and oversee a team of approximately 50 employees
- Support scheduling efforts and production planning
- Oversee and drive key performance indicators including throughput, quality performance, and equipment efficiency
- Provide leadership that fosters a positive, results-oriented work culture
