Estimator Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare estimates
- Perform accurate flooring takeoffs and calculate project costs
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals for multifamily and commercial projects
- Review addenda, update estimates, and ensure bids are submitted by deadlines
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, project managers, and general contractors throughout the estimating process
- Participate in project handoff meetings after awarded projects
- Manage multiple estimates and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- 2-5 years of experience in estimating
- Experience using MeasureSquare and/or Bluebeam Revu
- Experience estimating multifamily and commercial flooring projects
- High school diploma
- Flooring estimating experience is preferred
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance reimbursement ranging from $300 to $500 per month depending on salary
- 401k plan with a 3% match after a 3-month waiting period
- PTO of 10 days in the first year, increasing with tenure and performance
