Position Title: Accounting Assistant

Salary: $48,000 - $60,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, coding expenses, matching purchase orders, and preparing payments
• Audit 50–100 daily corporate credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Process employee expense reports and record accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records, petty cash, and accounting documentation
• Assist with asset and company vehicle tracking
• Provide backup administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling mail
• Collaborate with the remote Corporate Finance Manager and onsite team to support daily accounting and office operations
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years of accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related administrative accounting experience
• Strong accounts payable experience, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately audit high volumes of financial transactions
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to ask questions and collaborate effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with Deltek Ajera or Brex is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
