TEMPORARY Landscaping / Fine Gardening Crew Member
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Schedule: Part-time, temporary work available starting now. Shift options within Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 up until Thanksgiving. (Incentives for returning in Spring of '27.) Hours between 16-32 hrs per week, in 8.5 hour shifts.
Start Date: As soon as posssible
Pay: starting $20/hr
About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with seasonal landscaping and fine gardening services for residential properties. This position is ideal for someone who values hard work, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Physicality, ability to lift 50lbs, use of hand tools
- A keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the patience for repetitive tasks (like weeding)
- Punctuality
Responsibilities: No weekend work required. Most jobs are repeat clientele. Some jobs are one-time installations. Maintenance work includes pruning, cutbacks, weeding, planter arrangements, planting trees and shrubs. No lawncare, mostly softscape garden beds with an occasional hardscape installation. If you’re interested in learning proper gardening and useful landscape techniques, this role could be for you.
Qualifications:
- Interest or experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture preferred, so is a willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
