About the Position
At Formosa Asian Market, we’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in keeping a store running well. You’ll work with our team to help customers, stock products, prepare orders, and keep our Asian grocery store in Sudbury clean and organized.
We’ll help you learn the job and build your skills. If you’re interested in growing with us, there’s room to take on more responsibility and potentially move into a supervisor role as you gain experience and demonstrate leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Help customers find products and answer their questions.
- Work at the register and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for pickup, delivery, and shipping.
- Unpack shipments, stock shelves, check expiration dates, and rotate products.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Share customer concerns and inventory issues with the supervisor.
- Help with other daily tasks as needed.

The work includes standing, bending, stocking, and carrying merchandise, with reasonable accommodation as needed. An interest in Asian food, cooking, or culture is a plus!

Our store hours are Monday and Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Shifts vary, and we’ll discuss your availability during the hiring process.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
