Bout Time Pub & Grub is our vision of what a neighborhood sports bar should be! We pride

ourselves on serving up delicious scratch made food, a wide selection of beers and beverages in an

uncompromising sports atmosphere. We are always on the lookout for our next great team member

to join our community in serving our guests in a fun, fast paced environment.

Job Description:

Our Door guys are the first welcoming impression our guests receive as they enter the pub. They

maintain the front door and entrance area as well as ensure that everyone who enters the building is

21 or older and turns away those who are under 21, have an invalid or expired ID, or those who

appear intoxicated. They also help assist servers and bartenders in identifying intoxicated patrons

and help safely deescalate situations when needed.

Responsibilities:

 Welcoming guests to our house

 Scans ID's of all guests who appears under 35.

 Communicate with fellow staff members about any potential issues

 Deal with aggressive behavior or disobedience in a professional manner

 Help provide a safe environment for staff and guests.

 Practice alcohol awareness and exercising good judgement when allowing guests into the

pub.

 Maintain a professional and calm demeanor.

Qualifications:

 Current Serve Safe or equivalent certificate

 Ability to manage guests consuming alcohol

 Ability to carry at least 30 pounds

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 Adherence to personal safety standards

 Ability to stand for long periods of time

 Ability to bend, reach, squat and lift while on shift
