Bousum Trucking is currently seeking CDL Class A Owner Operators based in the Philadelphia, Morgantown, King of Prussia (KOP), Levittown and Trenton areas for a dedicated local route between South Plainfield, NJ and Conestoga, PA.
Compensation:
- $29.26 per ton
- Average load weight: 23.5 tons
- Minimum of 3 loads per day
- Consistent earning potential with dedicated routes
Job Details
- Local runs utilizing the 150 air-mile exemption
- Typical workday: 9.5–10.5 hours
- Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
- Dedicated customer routes
- 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity
Responsibilities
- Safely transport loads between South Plainfield, NJ and Conestoga, PA
- Complete proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Collect and accurately enter load tickets and related data in Samsara. (Mandatory)
- Maintain compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations
- Operate safely and professionally at all times
- Samsara camera system required which we will provide and install.
Preferred Experience
- PTO (Power Take-Off) experience preferred
- Tipper trailer experience preferred
- Training may be considered for qualified candidates
Owner Operator Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Must operate under your own Corporation and Authority
- Must carry your own insurance, including: General Liability/Auto Liability, & Workers Comp.
- Must provide your own tractor
- Trailer rental available
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass a road test and drug screening
