Bourbon Community Hospital seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor, leading our nursing staff and ensuring exceptional patient care. As a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising shifts, evaluating patient care effectiveness, and coordinating staff assignments based on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts
- Determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow
- Provide direct patient care as needed and float between staff to assist with problem-solving
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting desired outcomes
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current RN licensure in the state of KY
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly learn complex software systems and communicate effectively
