At Centerpoint Health's Paris Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit, our team is passionate about supporting adolescents through some of life's most challenging moments. We provide compassionate, individualized behavioral health care in a safe and structured environment focused on stabilization, healing, and personal growth. Our multidisciplinary team works closely together to support patients and their families while promoting positive outcomes and emotional well-being. How you'll contribute

A Behavioral Health Technician who excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.

• Patient Monitoring & Safety: Observe patients closely, document behaviors, and ensure a safe, secure environment.

• Support Daily Living Activities: Assist patients with hygiene, meals, routines, and basic care needs.

• Implement Treatment Plans: Follow care plans developed by clinicians, including leading or supporting therapeutic activities.

• Crisis Intervention: De-escalate situations and respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional crises.

• Documentation & Communication: Record patient progress and communicate updates to nurses, therapists, and the care team.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional requirements include:

• Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

• Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire
