Mixologist

We are seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, ensuring an inviting atmosphere in our bar or nightclub setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend drink options accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, recipes, and techniques to provide innovative offerings.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours through effective time management skills.
• Uphold cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies as needed, including alcohol, garnishes, and bar tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during events such as banquets or nightclub nights.
• Adhere to all licensing laws regarding alcohol service and responsible beverage service practices.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or catering environments.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and cocktail presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods without compromising quality.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations related to beverage preparation and serving.
• Experience with serving in banquet settings or retail environments is advantageous.
