Growth - Creator Economy (Cofounder possible)

Bounty is building crowdfunding for actions — a new category that gives anyone the ability to make something happen in the real world. You crowdfund a reward for any action you want to see, and the money is held until proof is uploaded. Imagine 3,000 people crowdfunding $1M to get LeBron in the dunk contest. Imagine the feeling of being part of that — and watching it actually happen. That's what we're building.

The creator economy is our beachhead. Creators use Bounty to let their fans suggest and fund anything they want to see the creator do. We win by building a product creators and their fans love.

I'm looking for a cofounder or high level role to own and accelerate creator recruitment and partnerships. It's the engine of the company right now, and the thing I most want a partner on.

What you'll own

• Bring creators onto the platform through direct relationships, agency and manager partnerships, and net-new outreach
• Own and grow those creator and agency relationships over time
• Figure out which niches and recruitment strategies actually work, and define the metrics that prove it
• Build the go-to-market motion alongside overall company direction
• Build a repeatable engagement loop that keeps creators and their fans active
• Help shape product and company vision
• Do the dirty work, because it's early and everything is everyone's job

Who you are

• You've signed creators or agency partners before, and you have the relationships to prove it
• You can build pipeline from a cold start
• You've used real analytics to validate and scale what's working, not just run on instinct
• You know the social and creator-economy landscape cold
• You're ambitious and entrepreneurial — you operate with autonomy in ambiguous, complex environments
• You communicate constantly, think flexibly, enjoy comedy, get excited often and lead with kindness

• You've used social/PR to amplify campaigns and pull in new users
• You've built large viral campaigns
• You've advised creators on their own growth
• You can turn a week of phone calls into 10 new creators

The role

• Cofounder level, open to other arrangements. I want a strategic partner who's also an operator
• Significant equity. We're pre-seed and bootstrapped today, with plans to raise
• I've raised $25M and run a startup before — you'd be building with someone who's done it
• NYC eventually preferred, not required. Full-time preferred; part-time to start is fine, and a good way to build conviction on both sides
