What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Boulevard Veterinary?
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians at our AAHA accredited practices. This candidate will be working with BLVD Cat at least part time (the rest of the time will work with mix of dogs & cats at our primary BLVD Vet Ravenswood location,) so confident and compassionate feline handling is a must! Do you know how to coach owners through their cat-carrier woes? Are you an expert at interpreting types of tail-flicks? Are you the go-to for “spicy” kitties in your current role? If so, we’d love to meet you and discuss opportunities at BLVD!
We’re also seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast paced environment, loves problem solving and leads with a helpful, "can-do" attitude. A dedication to teamwork and continuing education are a must. As we are a growing company, there will be opportunities for professional development and leadership roles. In addition, a joyful team culture is very important to us. We like to have group events at local venues to take the time to strengthen our bonds and have fun!
