What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Teacher position at Boulevard Music Lessons?
Boulevard Music Lessons has an immediate need for a music teacher to help support our growing business!
Our studio offers private, one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons range from 30-60 minutes per student. We tailor our lessons to what our students want to focus on while still teaching fundamentals.
We are looking for an educated, friendly, and flexible individual to teach lessons. Must be able to teach piano. This position would be responsible for:
- Teaching individual lessons with students of all ages and skill levels
- Creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Communicating with students and families about lesson progress and goals
An ideal candidate would have or be pursuing a degree in music education and have the following skills:
- Ability to teach all ages and skill levels
- Must be able to teach piano
- Knowledge of the instrument and different teaching styles
- Ability to be punctual and keep a consistent weekly schedule
Ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus but not required. Lessons are held on weekdays between the hours of 3:00-8:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00-3:00.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
