A day in your work boots It’s 6:55 a.m. You power up a Haas or DMG equipped with Siemens controls, confirm your setup, and bring a 3-, 4-, or 5-axis mill or a lathe online. Prints and specifications are at your station; gauges and measuring tools are laid out. You run first-piece checks, verify dimensions against requirements, and keep your area spotless so the next job is ready to flow. As parts move, you stay ahead of quality checks, document what you need, and keep production humming with a positive, can-do attitude. Reliability is your calling card—excellent attendance keeps the team on rhythm.
