What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor (Part Time) position at Boulevard Inn & Bistro?
A Night Auditor's time is divided between assisting guests with overnight (11:00pm-7:00am) requests and handling end of day bookkeeping, auditing, and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Keeping accurate financial records up to date
- Reporting revenue
- Verifying account postings and balances
- Reviewing payments and reconciling all credit card transactions and financial records to ensure all transactions are accounted for
- Run end of day procedure in property management system (PMS)
- Able to function as a front desk agent, including checking guests in and out as well as making reservations
- Responding to guest needs and requests
- Light maintenance
Skills
- Work experience in the hotel industry or as a receptionist preferred
- Experience handing cash
- Detail oriented
- Experience with property management systems (e.g. Opera), preferred, but not required
- Customer service
- Night availability
- Able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
